Come help us judge a Lego robotics competition. No experience is required. Contact Stacy Irwin (stacy.irwin@pnnl.gov) prior to December 3rd if you are interested. This is an all-day commitment on Sunday, 11 December 2022. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
Judges will interview and observe student team members, provide useful feedback to participants, participate in the deliberation process to decide on award recipients, and attend robot matches and the awards ceremony.
This is a FIRST® Lego League (FLL) Challenge competition. The participants will be in grades 4 through 8 and will compete with autonomous Lego Mindstorm robots. New judges are typically assigned to judge either the innovation project or core values (see FLL Challenge Overview for more details).
FIRST®, which stands For Inspiration and Recognition in Science and Technology, inspires young people to be science and technology leaders and innovators by engaging them in exciting mentor-based programs that build science, engineering, and technology skills.
