The 27th annual Washington Region Future City Competition is to be held on Saturday, January 18th, 2020 at Shoreline Community College. Future City is a nation-wide project-based learning program where students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades imagine, research, design, and build cities of the future. We have regional competitions in January with the winners moving on to the Finals in February located in Washington DC.
This Year’s Theme: The 2019-2020 Future City theme is Clean Water: Tap Into Tomorrow. Teams will choose a threat to their city's water supply and design a resilient system to maintain a reliable supply of clean drinking water.
We are looking for many more judges for next month's regional competition. If you are interested, please consider registering at your soonest convenience (instructions below).
