This is a great opportunity for 2 PNNL staff to interact with 8th grade science students. They are currently learning about kinetic energy and heat, and would like to have PNNL volunteers to bring hands-on displays or demonstrations that help them relate the science topics to real world applications. While demonstrations in kinetic energy and heat are preferred, they are open to general physics-related demonstrations as well. This is an all-day event that can be shared by 2 or more volunteers.
Must have an approved volunteer application with the Kennewick School District.
