We are thrilled to announce that Emerson Elementary will be hosting our annual College and Career Day on January 16th, 2025, with the Career portion running from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm for our students. This event is a wonderful opportunity to inspire our elementary students and to start thinking about their future paths and the possibilities that await them. The College portion takes place after school, from 4:00 - 6:00, so we will have parents, families, and older siblings there as well.
We would be honored to have you join us to share insights about the opportunities available through PNNL. Your participation can help spark curiosity and ambition in our young learners as they begin exploring the idea of higher education and various career fields.
The Career Day will provide a platform for you to:
- Discuss your background, and why you chose your profession.
- Interact with students and answer questions about your profession and background, discuss your job and responsibilities, why you choose this profession, and the requirements of your job.
- Help students recognize the opportunities available to them and start thinking about their future choices.
You will be presenting to students in 3-4 20 minute rotations. You will be based in a classroom, and have access to technology, if needed.
