Who We Are
The Mid-Columbia Science Fair Association (MCSF Association) is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization which exists to organize and hold the Mid-Columbia Regional Science and Engineering Fair. We are the oldest science fair in the state and this effort is 100% performed by volunteers and is funded by generous organizations and individuals.
What We Do
The MCSF Association works with teachers and students of Mid-Columbia area of Washington state, with the students conducting their chosen research project. Each year we hold the Mid-Columbia Regional Science and Engineering Fair during the second Thursday through Saturday of March. Our regional fair brings together hundreds of students from Eastern Washington and surrounding areas who get a chance to show off their scientific prowess to our judges and the public for learning, fun and awards.
The fair is open to any student, grades 6 through 12, in the Central Washington region.
