Who We Are
Jessica Church is the Team Battelle project manager for the Meals on Wheels/Healthy Pets organization, specifically, coordinate volunteers to deliver pet food to Meals on Wheels senior citizens that need help feeding their pets.
Prior to the inception of Healthy Pets three years ago, volunteer drivers reported that some of the most vulnerable Meals on Wheels clients were saving portions of their own meals to share with their pets. Other clients were forgoing medications to purchase pet food. The goal of Healthy Pets is to proactively intervene before clients resort to such practices.
What We Do
Shop for, and deliver, pet food to Meals on Wheels senior citizens.
