PNNL - Office of STEM Education

Who We Are

The Office of STEM Education is committed to inspire and prepare the nation’s next generation of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) workers. We provide opportunities for students, educators, and our community to explore and engage in career-focused and hands-on STEM learning experiences that are aligned to PNNL’s signature science areas. In alignment with the DOE mission, we aim to support a diverse workforce that is well-prepared and able to meet the growing demand for STEM skills across the nation.

What We Do

The Office of STEM Education efforts focus on the following key approaches to accelerate STEM progress and to capitalize on the unique capabilities and experiences available at PNNL:

  • Provide career-focused learning experiences for students in K-12 education
