Volunteer: Tri-City Union Gospel Mission

Tri-City Union Gospel Mission began serving Benton and Franklin counties 60 years ago, providing rescue ministry to the broken, bruised, and needy in the Tri-Cities and surrounding communities. Their desire is still the same today-to minister to the spiritual, physical, and moral needs of transient and destitute individuals and assist the poor and needy. They serve as advocates for the homeless, poor and discarded members of our community, with an emphasis on presenting a realistic and compassionate picture of their unique needs, especially homeless women and children. Daily, the Mission provides food, clothing, shelter, resource assistance, drug and alcohol counseling and treatment, emergency shelter for both men and women, and women with children. They also provide outreach into the community through weekly furniture, food box, and clothing give-away programs, as well as an intensive residential addictions program.   Volunteer opportunities are available on their website and include: See current opportunities.  Food Pantry Help (organizing & rotating food) Women's Clothing Room ( sorting, sizing, organizing) Serving Meals (lunch or dinner) Community Food Box Assembly (Wednesday evenings) Fixing things around the mission (building repairs, painting, etc) Clerical needs in the office Translator Donate food and/or clothing

Volunteer: MISSION ACCEPTING DONATIONS!

Did you know the Mission is accepting donations? We are! Beyond food and money, we're also now accepting clothing, hygiene supplies, toys, not furniture - but small household items, sheets for twin beds, and shoes.

Running the Mission is very similar to running your own home, except on a much bigger scale. Just think of all the things you need for your family. We need those sames things to keep the Mission operating smoothly.

So if you need it at your house, most likely we need it here, and you can be a huge blessing to us by donating those items. We also have a list of "Urgent Needs" which we update as our needs change throughout the year.

Please bring all donations to the Men's Facility, which is located at 221 S 4th Avenue, Pasco, WA 99301. Donation drop off is located on the 3rd Ave side of property, right behind the Thunderbird Motel. The donation attendant will open the gate and help unload your donations.
