I need a minimum of 8, maximum 15 volunteers for this years Book & Vines event. The event will be outdoors from 4:45 - 9:30 on September 10 at Bookwalter Winery doing a variety of tasks including guest check-in, check-out, runners, selling tickets or beads for fund raising during the event, setting up silent auction items, assisting guests to the their car with silent auction items, if needed. Volunteers are needs for both activities that require a lot of sitting or a lot of standing, so please let me know which you prefer.
We try to wear semi-matching clothes. This year we are trying to wear tan or khaki pants/capris/skirts and purple shirts. I will also supply a Team Battelle button to borrow to identify you.
We also will be required to wear masks during the entire event.
If you are going to be involved in check-in/check-out or if you will be helping with the virtual auction, training will be given the week prior.
